Camp Hauruang

This is an update from an ongoing project since May 2023. Project Chin Hills supports the teachers and students at Camp Hauruang monthly for approximately $200 (depending on the needs). Since the children are not attending a public school, the two teachers are helping them with their education daily in this makeshift classroom made by the parents.

In the pictures, the beautiful children are helping to clean up the area around their classroom. Project Chin Hills is providing education needs for the students, and also necessities for the parents.

Camp Hauruang is located in Lunglei district in Mizoram, and the IDPs are made up of mostly Matu people. Project Chin Hills will focus on long-term projects, short-term projects, and Emergency Relief. The areas of assitance will proceed to education, food and rations, medical needs, emergency relief, and spiritual care.
